Drivers in Jenkintown, Abington, and Willow Grove can learn more about the new Elantra with this 2021 Hyundai Elantra review from Sussman Auto Group.

Hyundai Elantra Interior Space and Comfort

Elantra Space and ComfortThe Elantra contains seating for five people in two rows. For the 2021 model year, the Elantra expanded its interior space for more passenger comfort. Both the front and rear seats have ample headroom and legroom for passengers to stretch out and relax. Cloth seats are standard, but you can add leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated front seats, and a sunroof.

The trunk of the Elantra has a capacity of 14.2 cubic feet. That’s means, plenty of space is available for stowing luggage and shopping bags. The cabin has numerous small-item storage spaces as well, such as bins and pockets, so passengers can store their phones or keys on the drive.

Hyundai Elantra Performance

The Elantra holds a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 147 horsepower. This engine is standard for the SE, SEL, and Limited trim levels. A continuously variable transmission is standard and gives the Elantra rapid acceleration and power. If you want more muscle, the Elantra offers the N Line trim, which uses a 201-horsepower turbocharged 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine, mated to a 6-speed manual or 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

The Elantra combines performance and comfort well. The ride is quiet and smooth for passenger comfort, but you can upgrade to the sport-tuned Elantra trim for athletic handling and an exhilarating ride. All models are backed by strong, reliable brakes. Front-wheel drive is standard for all models.

Hyundai Elantra Features

Hyundai Elantra InteriorThe Elantra comes with a sharp infotainment system with straightforward menu options and a combination of touch inputs, voice commands, and physical knobs and buttons. The system uses an 8-inch touchscreen at the base level, but you can upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® are included, giving you the option to stream music from your phone through the car’s onboard system. Optional features include Bose® premium sound, wireless device charging, and navigation.

Several safety features are standard for the Elantra, such as a rearview camera, lane-keep assist, and high-beam assist. You’ll have a forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking, a feature that apprises you of possible frontal collisions and presses the brakes automatically. A rear cross-traffic alert is also standard, which alerts you if there are vehicles in your path when backing up.
